A full bodied ale with a citrus hop aroma. Rebellious Jarrow Labour MP in 1936, Ellen Wilkinson, joined the Jarrow Marchers on route to London on their unemployment protest and addressed them at Hyde Park.
Brewed with the finest Maris Otter extra pale malted barley blended with English and Slovenian Goldings hops offering a distinct floral mouth and nose feel.
Stone the Crows
Carefully crafted from the finest crystal and chocolate malts. Chewy juicy fruit flavours give way to a deep lingering bitterness provided by an abundance of Styrian Goldings, Millenium and Nugget hops.
As Spring comes in the great houses and the lambs dance in the country estates a deep stirring occurs in the brewhouse. The brewer turns his skills to produce a golden beer to remind him of the sunshine, delicately hopped yet full bodied to celebrate the growth of another year.
This Ruby Mild has a stunning fruity body with a smooth and subtle chocolate finish. This Real Ale has a complex recipe using quality grains including Wheat and Munich Malt, providing a full depth of body and flavour. These quality ingredients combined with a delicate mix of hops produce a traditional yet luxurious Ruby Mild.
The beer’s curious name stems from the fact that the beer is brewed using seven different malts and Scott William’s daughter thought the number seven looked like a giraffe. The hops are Cascade, First Gold, and Styrian Goldings. The beer is dry hopped with Cascade and Styrians. Elderflowers are also added during the copper boil with hops and the beer also receives a squeeze of lemon juice.
Ten Years After
A blended cider to celebrate 10 years of Ciderniks’ cidermaking in 2013 and also in memory of Alvin Lee (1944-2013), one of the greatest blues-rock guitarists and singer/ songwriters.
This scrumptious, premium, still cider is rich in fruity aromas and ripe apple flavour. The autumnal windfall apples are our inspiration for this delicious, mellow cider.
